We recognize that every woman wants to see role models just like herself who is working hard to determine her own destiny. The World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Gender Gap Report 2018 reported a 32% gender gap. The data further shows that in many advanced economies, gender differences have actually vanished in terms of educational attainment and access to healthcare.
So where should we look to accelerate the closing of the gender gap, especially in places where we call home?

In many highly advanced urbanised countries, we as a society have actually stagnated in two areas, which are both critical to power and influence: political empowerment and economic participation and opportunity. Women are simply not included enough in decision making that affects them. We refuse to be comfortable with that. This is why we do what we do. We commit ourselves to building an inclusive platform that galvanizes everyone to empower women everywhere, beginning with the ones in our communities.
